What is Healing Touch?
Healing Touch (HT) is a gentle, relaxing, complimentary healing modality that uses light touch to balance, open and connect the energy system of the body. The premise of Healing Touch is that when the body is balanced and relaxed, self-healing can occur.
Healing Touch was founded by nurse Janet Mentgen, and is currently being used globally in hospitals*, hospice, integrative health centers, clinics and private offices. Extensive research has been conducted to demonstrate the efficacy of Healing Touch in areas such as pain management, cancer care, cardiovascular care, post-operative recovery, immune function and stress management. The most incredible benefit of the sessions is my physical and spiritual feeling I take back to the normal world. I feel more at peace, happier, and more open to those around me.” -B.B.
